In this level of the B12 process, Consolidation is very important to keep the new believer in the church so he or she can be discipled. Because it is so critical, it needs to be properly done. Upon the non-believers’ decision to accept Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior, the consolidator or cell leader should:

  • Get and verify the new believer’s particulars
  • Pray for him/her with genuine concern
  • Assimilate the new believer to the worship services and to a Bgroup
  • Walk through the Breakthrough with him/her

The Pre-Breakthrough consists of four lessons designed to prepare the new believer for the Breakthrough Weekend. The Pre-Breakthrough is essential for the new believer to receive maximum impact and value at the Breakthrough Weekend.

Breakthrough Weekend

The Breakthrough is conducted over three days like a retreat. The Breakthrough is the new believer’s first experience of coming face to face with God and His Word. During the weekend the participant is confronted with his past and is led to deal with all the negative influences in his life. It is also here that the participant and the B12 vision receives the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

What is a Breakthrough?

3 days, 2 nights of personal experience with God!
guaranteed life changing!
7 messages & testimonies culminating in commitment (baptism for unbelievers) and vision casting (B12)!
– Session 1: Encounter with Jesus
– Session 2: Spiritual Warfare
– Session 3: Bondage Breaker
– Session 4: The Cross of Christ
– Session 5: Living in Victory
– Session 6: Consecration & Commitment
– Session 7: B12 Vision Casting

Fresh from the Breakthrough Weekend, the believer goes through ten lessons of the Post-Breakthrough so that he is equipped with the Word of God to deal with the attacks of Satan. The Post-Breakthrough teaches believers how to relate to the world, friends and problems and how to overcome temptation, the flesh, sin and the devil. The Post-Breakthrough teaching will produce greater fruitfulness in the disciples and will result in an unprecedented increase in the retention of new believers.

Being Part of a Bgroup

B-Groups are the primary place where you can belong and be cared for personally and intimately at Bradford Church. It is within these small groups that men and women from various stages in life can build personal relationship with God and each other and practice applying the gospel to their lives. Each group expects to experience Jesus Christ in its midst, enabling participants to be transformed through mutual ministry and to experience life in the family of God.

Composed of four to twelve people, groups meet in homes, offices, or in the church for mutual growth and edification. All groups are led by trained lay-leaders from the congregation who receive continued oversight and support from our pastoral staff. Groups generally meet every week for worship, bible study, fellowship and prayer. Many groups also participate in monthly service projects or social events, in place of a regular meeting.

These groups provide sanctuary from the pressures and anxieties of life in the city and facilitate the formation of new friendships. B-groups are places where we can be revitalized and strengthened as we seek to reflect the love of Jesus Christ to our fellow believers and to the unbelieving society as a whole. As God made us for community, we need others to help us apply the gospel to our lives. Our hope is that everyone who attends our church will be involved in a B-Group.

You are welcome to any one of our many groups at any time of the week. See a list of all Existing B-Groups.
